Many people have had similar experiences . . . everything else just sort of dropped away and they felt a unity or oneness with something that is hard to put into words. Sometimes people have that in natural surroundings . . . sometimes after they have become aware of human needs . . . sometimes listening to music or singing . . . and in a variety of other settings.
